En Lincoln abrió el Consultorio de Consejería en Lactancia Materna
Funcionarios de la secretaría de Salud local inauguraron un consultorio de Consejería en Lactancia Materna en el Centro de Rehabilitación del Hospital Municipal “Doctor Rubén Omar Miravalle”. Será un espacio donde las mujeres podrán recibir todo tipo de información y acompañamiento durante todo el período de lactancia.
El nuevo espacio funciona en el centro de rehabilitación del hospital municipal de Lincoln y atiende los miércoles a las 13.30 horas. Fue puesto en funcionamiento en el marco de las acciones impulsadas por la secretaría de Salud municipal en la Semana Mundial de la Lactancia Materna.
Como broche de oro de la Semana de Lactancia Materna, funcionarios de la secretaría de Salud inauguraron un Consultorio de Consejería en Lactancia Materna en el Centro de Rehabilitación del Hospital Municipal “Doctor Rubén Omar Miravalle”. Será un espacio donde las mujeres podrán recibir todo tipo de información y acompañamiento durante todo el periodo de lactancia.
“Es un lugar de encuentro con madres, hijos y profesionales para poder despejar dudas, resolver situaciones, compartir experiencias y sentirse acompañadas en este mágico y natural momento de la vida”, explicaron desde la cartera de Salud del Municipio.
La puesta en marcha de este lugar se dio en el marco de la celebración de la Semana Mundial de la Lactancia Materna y estuvo encabezada por la directora del hospital, Betina Dubra; la subdirectora, Andrea Biasetti; y la coordinadora del Consultorio de Lactancia, Laura Rodríguez.
El Consultorio de Consejería en Lactancia Materna funcionará en la sede del Centro de Rehabilitación del Hospital (ubicado en la avenida San Lorenzo 2098) y atenderá todos los miércoles a partir de las 13:30 horas.
SEMANA DE LA LACTANCIA
Este año, bajo el lema “Proteger la lactancia materna: una responsabilidad compartida”, la Semana Mundial de la Lactancia Materna se celebra del 1 al 7 de agosto y hace hincapié en el apoyo y el compromiso que deben asumir los distintos actores de la sociedad para proteger y garantizar la lactancia en los diferentes ámbitos.
Como cada año, el hospital municipal se suma a la Semana de la Lactancia Materna para fomentar, promover y recordar que la leche materna es el mejor alimento para el bebé, desde su nacimiento hasta los 2 años de vida.
ESCULTURAS DE CARTAPESTA
En el marco de la Semana de la Lactancia, en un trabajo conjunto entre la secretaría de Salud y la dirección de Museos del Hospital Municipal, fueron reacondicionadas y puestas en valor para su exhibición, varias esculturas relacionadas a la temática que, en su momento, habían sido realizadas por el artesano linqueño Raúl Traversa.
Las mismas estarán en exhibición durante esta semana en el centro de rehabilitación del hospital y luego serán trasladas e instaladas en los diferentes centros de salud del Distrito, con el objetivo de continuar fomentando, promoviendo y apoyando la lactancia como alimentación fundamental para el recién nacido.
