De su patio tomó algunos ladrillos, unas sillas, tablas y, con toda su experiencia futbolística, acumulada gracias a sus pasos por el Regional Amateur, la copa Argentina y los torneos liguistas, más la formación que ha recibido desde pequeño, comenzó a traspirar la camiseta emocional, esa que tiene puesta adentro y que no para, y que, por lo que parece, nunca va a parar.
Todo un orgullo es este joven para otros jóvenes. Había, en el inicio de este año, después de haber soñado años llegar al fútbol grande del país, recibido un golpe duro en Gimnasia, en donde, después de haber puesto el carácter sobre la mesa con duros entrenamientos y pruebas, solo en la ciudad de las diagonales, había recibido la negativa de quedar allí. Sin embargo, inmediatamente, en vez de haberse quedado lamentando, había ido a Villa San Carlos a probarse, y allí había quedado, para luego ir creciendo a pasos agigantados hasta el presente. Y a puro convencimiento, cosa que él muy bien sabe.
Cabeza de adulto, corazón enorme, temple de acero y una expectativa interminable. Tomás nació amando el fútbol, es por eso que no para. Y no es ceguera. Es una relación alquímica, nada volátil, bien profunda es. Y lo hace notar. A lo grande.
Otra vez Tomás entrenando, otra vez traspirando, otra vez inmutable en su convencimiento. Aunque, esta vez, haciéndole frente a una pandemia, nada más y nada menos. En su casa, con tablas improvisadas, con ladrillos armados con su mente para el ejercicio, saltando sillas, con pasadas de ida y vuelta. Con el fuego interior que viene mostrando desde chiquito.
Eso genera un objetivo cuando uno lo tiene claro en la cabeza. No hay nada que pare a un ser humano con pasión. Y uno de ellos es Uvilla. Sin dudas. Para suerte de él y el deporte de nuestro Distrito.
