Así lo afirmó en una entrevista exclusiva para “Corazón Amateur”, uno de los refuerzos más prometedores de Rivadavia, un volante que no sólo tiene cualidades creativas y una gran dinámica, sino que, además, posee una marca aguerrida. En ese marco, el mediocampista habló de varios temas, entre ellos el superclásico ante El Linqueño, cómo se encuentre el equipo y qué pretensiones tiene dentro de este certamen de ascenso.

César Susmel es uno de los refuerzos más prometedores de los que ha adquirido Rivadavia. Sus cualidades deportivas son su buen manejo de pelota, su astucia para jugar ordenado en el medio campo y su capacidad de contención en ese sector de la cancha, teniendo en cuenta que su puesto natural es el de mediocampista

Con tan solo 23 años, nacido el 22 de mayo de 1996 y luego de haber hecho toda su carrera deportiva en San Telmo, club en el que llegó casi a ascender a la Primera B Nacional en el campeonato pasado en Primera División, tomó la decisión de jugar en el Rojo, luego de que le afirmaran que era un club de prestigio, con una gran historia y pretensiones deportivas.

En ese marco, este talentoso juvenil, que será tenido en cuenta seguramente entre los titulares de la escuadra rivadaviense que jugará el Torneo Regional Amateur 2020, le contó a “Corazón Amateur” cómo se dio su llegada a Rivadavia, qué pretensiones tiene como jugador nuevo dentro de la entidad, qué impresiones le han quedado luego de haber arribado a Lincoln y qué espera para el superclásico ante El Linqueño, que se jugará el venidero 2 de febrero, en el “Leonardo Costa”, por la primera fecha de la zona 2 de la Región Bonaerense Pampeana Norte.

CARRERA DEPORTIVA

Cesar Susmel tiene 23 y nació en San Telmo. Vivió toda su vida en esa localidad y juego en el elenco de San Telmo desde los cuatro años. En esa entidad deportiva pasó por el baby fútbol, luego hizo las infantiles en Ferro Carril Oeste y volvió a San Telmo para ya hacer las inferiores y debutar en Primera División, un hecho especial que se dio el 22 de mayo del 2016, justo el día de su cumpleaños número 20.

1- ¿Cómo se dio tu llegada a Rivadavia?

– Bueno, a través de mis representantes Manuel y Agustín Benito. La idea era buscar alguna opción para tener más protagonismo, que no había tenido en los últimos partidos en San Telmo, y surgió la posibilidad de venir acá. Pedí referencias del club, a jugadores y algunos técnicos conocidos que había tenido y que conocían el torneo Federal y me hablaron muy bien de Rivadavia. Entonces, no tuve ninguna duda de venir para acá. Hice una prueba para que me conozca el director técnico (Juan Carlos Gho) y para conocer las instalaciones y, bueno, puse la firma.

2- ¿Qué has notado de diferente en este club desde que has llegado en términos generales?

– Primero creo que, algo para destacar, es la calidad de personas que hay en el club, tanto el cuerpo técnico, dirigentes y compañeros también. Estos muchachos tienen un plato de comida y te dan dos. Eso es algo que a uno lo hace sentirse muy cómodo en su lugar de trabajo. Cuando te tratan bien, uno está bien. Después, a nivel instalaciones, desde que llegué dije que este club tiene que estar más arriba. Las comodidades de tener su propio gimnasio, una pileta de natación a nuestra absoluta disposición (a mí que me encanta entrenar), es un parque de diversiones.

3- ¿Cómo está el plantel en lo técnico y en lo físico, a pocos días de arrancar el Regional 2020?

– La verdad es que lo veo muy bien. Se formó un lindo grupo en el que todos tiramos para adelante. Y eso se nota en los entrenamientos y en la convivencia diaria de lo que es el vestuario. El plantel está integrado en su mayoría por todos chicos jóvenes, como yo, todos chicos con muchas ganas de entrenar y algunos pocos jugadores con experiencia, referentes del grupo, que tiran para adelante, dejando cualquier tipo de ego de lado. Físicamente nos encontramos trabajando muy bien y, en lo técnico, venimos, amistoso tras amistoso, corrigiendo cosas para achicar el margen de error cada vez más.

4- Como te han recibido en la casa rivadaviense?

– La verdad que excelente. Son personas muy cálidas. Al parecer están contentos con mi llegada y, a la vez, yo muy feliz de estar acá, así que eso suma muchísimo.

5- ¿Qué creés que le podés aportar al equipo?

– Bueno, siempre destaco que soy un jugador con mucha dinámica. Si me tendría que definir, diría que soy un volante mixto, tanto de juego como defensivo. Me gusta tener la pelota en los pies y, a la vez, me tiro a barrer hasta de cabeza.

6- ¿Pudiste conocer algo de la historia rica que hay en torno al superclásico de Lincoln entre Rivadavia y El Linqueño?

– Ni bien llegué al club, de las primeras cosas que escuché hablar fue del clásico con El Linqueño. Tanto es así que, uno ya a esta altura, no piensa en otra cosa que en ganarlo. No tuve la posibilidad de jugar un clásico, ya que Dock Sud, que es el de San Telmo, siempre estuvo en la C y San Telmo en la B Metropolitana. Así que ésta va a ser una hermosa oportunidad. Espero ganarme al público rivadaviense. Es un partido importantísimo para ellos, aunque, para nosotros, a pesar de ser un clásico, es un cotejo más de los que tenemos que ganar jugando de la mejor manera posible, para conseguir nuestro principal objetivo, que es el ascenso al Federal A.

7- ¿Cómo te encontrás físicamente?

– Me encuentro bien. Nos estamos poniendo a punto para el inicio del torneo; quedan algunos amistosos por jugar todavía. Tenemos dos con la Reserva de Sarmiento, que es una buena medida para antes del comienzo del certamen. Siempre es bueno que los partidos de preparación sean con rivales fuertes. Así que estamos entrenando muy bien, preparándonos para el debut el 2 de febrero.

8- ¿Creés que ser profesor de educación física suma para tu carrera deportiva?

Bueno, si bien me quedan sólo algunas materias para recibirme de profesor de Educación Física, soy personal trainer también y trabajé tres años entrenando gente. Una de mis alumnas más destacadas es Laura Fidalgo. Ella fue alumna mía por casi dos años, y tenemos una gran amistad, como con muchos alumnos. Ésta es una parte de mi vida que tuve que dejar en pausa para venir a jugar acá. Si bien costó, porque es una profesión que amo, no dudé en hacerlo y era una linda oportunidad para enfocarme 100% en lo futbolístico. Además de eso, practiqué artes marciales, judo y karate, y una de mis pasiones es el ciclismo. Asimismo soy devoto de la virgen de San Nicolás, ya que ella me ayudó a debutar en Primera, y cumpliendo mi promesa a la Virgen, viajé desde Buenos Aires a San Nicolás 260 kilómetros en bicicleta.

9- ¿Cuáles fueron las vivencias más importantes que viviste en San Telmo?

– Bueno, lo más importante que viví futbolísticamente fue el torneo pasado, Cuando jugamos la final contra All Boys para ascender a la Primera B Nacional. Clasificamos al torneo reducido, y jugar esos cuatro partidos de semifinal y final, fueron cosas únicas que viví en mi vida. Si bien estuvimos muy cerca de ascender, nos quedamos con esa amargura de no poder hacerlo. Así que ésta es una nueva oportunidad para dejar todo e ir por ese objetivo. Sé lo que es jugar una final, la cantidad de gente que ve esos partidos y la repercusión que tiene, y, la verdad, es algo hermoso que uno como jugador no se olvida nunca.
